Walking on Sunshine Golden Hour

The Alchemy Collection is a collaborative series of original artwork produced by Liz Rundorff Smith and Teresa Roche. The patterns in this collection are made from the original artwork the artists create together by layering encaustic wax, pigmented pastel powders, geometric forms, and organic motifs. The encaustic artwork is then transformed into a distinct and sophisticated series of textile patterns.

The visual equivalent of laughter through tears (our favorite emotion) Walking on Sunshine blends the golden hues of lighthearted joy with a touch of emotional depth in the form of dark tonal value and delicate lines. We find a timeless sophistication and understated richness gives this pattern the unique ability to stand the test of time.
